Intelligence Specialist Chief Petty Officer Jessica I. Zackery (USN)

Chief Petty Zackery has served in the United States Navy for 22 years. Born in Manhattan, New York, Chief Petty Officer Jessica Zackery graduated from Park East High School in June 1993. She enlisted as an E-1 in the United States Navy under the delayed entry program on July 22, 1994 and reported for Basic Training in Chicago Illinois on October 12, 1994.

In February 1995, upon completion of Basic Training, Chief Zackery was assigned to her first duty station, USS MOUNT WHITNEY (LCC- 20) in Norfolk Virginia. She deployed with the USS MOUNT WHITNEY as the flag ship for the Commander Sixth Fleet from June to October 1999. In June 2001, after a temporary assignment to NCTAMSLANT she received orders to Naval Station Port Operations in Norfolk Virginia.

At the end of her tour Chief Zackery pursued her career in the Intelligence Community and reported to Intelligence Specialist "A" school. She completed Imagery "C" School and received her first orders as an Intelligence Specialist to Patron Sixteen (VP-16) in Jacksonville, Florida, in April 2005. In February 2009, she reported to Patrol Squadron Thirty (VP-30).

In March 2012, Chief Zackery reported on board the USS GETTYSBURG (CG- 64) as the Independent Duty Intelligence Specialist. She served on board USS GETTYSBURG for three years. Chief Petty Officer Zackery is currently assigned to United States Central Command.

Chief Petty Officer Zackery has completed her Associates Degree in Arts and is currently finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice-Homeland Defense

Her awards include the Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal
